Institute for the Study of Spirit (ISS) is a transformative space for healing-centered leadership, spiritual training, and systemic metamorphosis based in Six Nations Grand River Territory in Ontario, Canada. Rooted in Indigenous knowledge and ceremony, ISS serves as a catalyst for a new paradigm that heals the wounds of colonization and capitalism and reorients us toward a compassionate relationship with one another and with Mother Earth. ISS is centering matrilineal voices, uplifting Indigenous wisdom, and aligning networks of spiritual potency that the world urgently needs. Through ceremony, dialogue, teaching, and healing practices, ISS is responding to expressed needs from communities for healing and traditional teachings through its network of Healers, training the next generation of Traditional Healers, developing a digital World Indigenous Wisdom Library, supporting the Grandmothers of the Sacred Fire in their community work as they care for Mother Earth and care for their people with love, respect, and compassion.
